Without power, we will likely not make it much longer. Below freezing temps inside and outside, dead animals, livestock, and humans are piling up. It's getting to be very hard to "trust" anyone or anything any longer.

Every one in this weather needs compassion is my point.
Texas is acting like blm.
Im saying ALL lives matter.
Agreed that we all need compassion and all lives matter. Yes. 100%.
That said, I dunno about politicians but I haven't seen evidence of any TEXANS whining for special treatment. Yes, this is more of a shock to us bc we NEVER get snow/ice storms like this. And many are panicking like deer in the headlights. But I dont think we are being whiny. Folks are just scared.
And when you go comparing us to BLM, well... them’s fighting words, no doubt.
We need more peace and love, patriot. This is a testing time. Let us weather it together with compassion for all.
The reason I said that is due to a FLOOD of texas threads sliding the board. No other state.
When you see that, its usually points to one thing. Shills. (normally)
But regardless, I feel like I have made a very valid point. Many people are suffering. But its only Texas posts.
My state has been losing power through this whole thing. There are trailer parks every where. Many very poor people. No insulation. thin walls.
So , yes, when I see the board slided by all these texas posts, it really makes me wonder. If I saw an equal amount of posts and threads with other states, I wouldnt say shit. Because that makes logical sense. Its been sub zero with -15 to -18 windchill here for about a week straight.
Think about those people in the trailers, especially if they lost power.
Fair point. My guess is that there is an agenda here behind the push highlighting Texas. Possibly bc we have our own grid and use much solar/wind. Unsure of who is behind it and the message is not yet clear.
Finally.... someone else gets my point.
Thank you!
Texas getting weather like this is equivalent to Kansas getting a cat-5 hurricane.
The state's infrastructure isn't built to handle what they are experiencing.
You're attacking Texans for "whining", but if your state somehow got a hurricane, you'd be "whining" just as much.
Stop being a DICK.
No, thats not at all an equal comparison.
No infrastructure is built to handle deep freezes like that.
I live in Missouri where it was sub zero for about a week straight.
We got warnings from our electric company that it might shut down too.
Our houses are wrapped in fucking plastic siding. Most people out here live in TRAILERS, with thin, almost uninsulated walls.
We cut down trees. Split wood. Make fire. Use blankets. Dress in several layers of clothing. Etc.
I thought Texans were stronger than this. This freeze isnt discriminating by borders of states. Infrastructure isnt different between Texas and your neighbors, aside from more trailers in the poorer states.
My simple point is, many other people are suffering BIGLY and I am ONLY seeing texans in here bitching.
If you think that once you cross out of your state into your neighboring states that everyone has log cabons, fire places, cords of wood stacked and generators, your mistaken.
Yes, you're 100% correct. You're awesome in every way, you're strong, brave, and oh-so-intelligent.
Texans are dumbass bumpkins who whine and complain way too much.
If only all Texans were clones of you, oh most high and holy god of self-sufficiency.
I prostrate myself before you in hopes of simply touching the hem of your robes as you walk by.
Yeah, smart ass. That's exactly what i meant. You got me.
Your handle says it all. Youre a glow fag.
'Splended Great' aka pompeiusmagnus
Put yourself on that pedistool and glow. Im getting a sun tan from your magnificence.
