Most people around here probably already have this figured out, at least generally, but it can be useful to have specific information about this topic. Especially so when gouls like Gates want to eliminate healthy meat.
Veggie burgers don’t grow in the ground. They’re made in factories
Here are some things you might not know are in that veggie burger:
- Tertiary butylhydroquinone. TBHQ is a synthetic preservative that prevents discoloration in processed foods. The FDA limits the amount of TBHQ allowed in foods because studies of laboratory animals has found an association with TBHQ and cancer.
- Magnesium carbonate. Remember when some bread was accused of having a yoga mat chemical? Well, magnesium carbonate, used in foods to retain color, is also used in flooring, fireproofing, and fire-extinguishing compounds.
- Erythosine (Red #3). Red #3 is an artificial food coloring. The FDA banned the use of Red #3 in products such as cosmetics in 1990 after high doses of the substance were linked to cancer. But it can still be used in foods like fake meat.
- Propylene glycol. Propylene glycol is an odorless, colorless liquid used as a moisturizer. It’s also used as a liquid in e-cigarettes and is the primary ingredient in antifreeze.
- Ferric orthophosphate. Also called iron phosphate, this chemical is used to fortify foods. It can also be used as a pesticide to kill slugs and snails. While generally considered safe (for people) in food in small quantities, it can be a skin and eye irritant and may cause an upset stomach.

Vegetables are pretty much worthless for humans.
They have very little macronutrients, other than carbohydrate, which conversts to sugar, which we do not need. They also have the wrong kind of protein (amino acids are missing and in the wrong proportions), and the fats are also of the wrong kind (for the most part).
Fiber is bad for you and is not digested by the human digestive tract. The official definition of fiber is that part of the plant that is not digestible. It scars your intestines and has no redeeming value.
The micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) are not very bioavailable for humans. You cannot get Vitamin A from plants (you can only get beta carotene, which has a low conversion rate to Vit. A, and some people can't convert it at all). There is no Vitamin D that we need. There is no B12. What few vitamins there are, are not very bioavailable to humans. Plants live on minerals, not vitamins, and the types of minerals are often the wrong kinds as well (such as iron being non-heme iron rather than heme iron).
Antinutrients block the absorbtion of nutrients. Plants create chemicals (antinutrients) to protect themselvss from being eaten, since they can't run or fight. If you get black beans, the antinutrients will block about half the zinc you might eat from oysters (richest source of zinc of any food). If you also eat corn with that meal, the antinutrients in the black beans and corn will block all the zinc from the oysters -- as if you didn't eat any oysters.
There might be some herbs that have beneficial properties for humans, but that's about it. Plants want animals to eat their fruit, keep their seeds in tact, and then defecate on the ground some distance away. That is the next generation of plant, along with some good fertilizer. But plants do not want their bodies or leaves to be eaten, because they would die. That is why most of the plant has toxins of various kinds.

Ive been woke and red pilled for quite a while now maybe 7 years now and vegan for 4 years. I hate claiming veganism because stupid liberal vegans are NUTS. I suppose I am “plant based” as it sounds way better than VEGAN. Straight up I am plant based simply because I don’t want to kill anything to eat and I get along just fine eating plant based.
That being said, I have also consumed many of veggie based meat products. Since being Q woke I have dropped Beyond Beef products... Bill Gates supports that company and the manufacturing plants happen to exist really close to planned parenthood locations... fucking gross. I don’t see those ingredients listed in the above article in any field roast or gardien products.

Look up YT lectures of Natasha Campbell-McBride. She will tell you the what and why of different foods in the human body. She has cured hundreds, if not thousands of children with autism by changing their diet.
Look up also Georgia Eades. She did a thorough study of all the scientific research that has ever been published on "are vegetables healthy?" Guess what she found? Thousands of research studies having something to do with vegetables, and NOT ONE that showed any benefit to eating them.

T-Butylhydroquinone is the main one on that list that spooks me. Quinones are bad news - your body creates quinones as part of normal metabolism, but also tries to destroy them ASAP because - yeah - they're cancer-inducing agents.

We need a return to real wholesome food as nature intended and an end to these frankenfoods. Many of our modern-day chronic health problems seem to be associated with our screwed-up food and water supply. I used to think those in charge were so enthusiastic about all the new technologies could do that they rushed ahead, not focusing on what these things could potentially do to our health. There are two major 'new kids on the block' in the long-standing "veggie burger" category - 'Beyond Burger' and 'Impossible Burger'. They have VERY different ingredients from each other. And they are very different from the classic 'veggie burgers' of old. So I doubt all these 'chemicals' are in all variants.
As pointed out by several others, every food on the planet contains 'chemicals' if you want to make it sound scary. Beef itself contains horrible-sounding chemicals that exist 'naturally' in the meat, and that's BEFORE you start burning it on a grill!
Personally, with age I've gradually begun to prefer Turkey burgers over beef burgers, and I've even tried the 'beyond burger'. I was very skeptical but really enjoyed it ... FWIW.
