It's an OK Rye, from a guy that almost exclusively drinks rye, but there's a lot better out there. Welp,, that's the last time I'll buy Rittenhouse then.

If I had the time, I'd put together a still and sell it as "free as fuck" rye

Not likely, honestly. Thrombotic events, yes in people with antiphospholipid antibodies (which is 1/20 of the population, by the way) with additional predisposing factors. Guillan-Barre syndrome and anaphylaxis, absolutely - that'll happen with any drug, vaccine, or injectable anything if you give it to enough people. And the fact that cardiolipin is a part of some of these vaccines, frankly, is horridly irresponsible considering that that particular lipid is a) part of our own mitochondrial inner membranes, and b) when it gets into the bloodstream, signals to your immune system that things have gone horribly wrong, like a heart attack or gangrene. In of itself, though, that's more likely to prompt autoimmune responses rather than sepsis.

The aluminum they include as adjuvants for any vaccine primes the immune system to get hyper-reactive to any potential bug - viral, bacterial, fungal, whatever - and that diminishes the likelihood of sepsis occurring. Potentially, if a vaccine contained a super-high dose of mRNA, enough to pump out as much spike protein as, say, a high payload of the virus itself, then yes you might get enough increased vascular permeability that sepsis could happen in more people than normal. But from the point of pathology, sepsis is much more likely to happen when you do something that actively suppresses the immune system - like being on corticosteroids, or TNF inhibitors for rheumatoid arthritis, etc.

made me giggle, because she'd start business meetings by inviting men to have a look so that they'd be over it and business could proceed without distraction

This doesn't surprise me too much. Antibodies help the body clear pathogens faster, and is a part of adaptive / humoral immunity. But you still have a wide range of defenses against pathogens even without them; innate immunity is extremely powerful, and many types of organisms rely solely on innate immunity for protection and survival.

You can also have cytotoxic T-cells, NK cells and the like, which don't need any sort of antibody to do their thing, and yet can help respond to infections in a targeted manner.

There is a whole lot more for physicians and physician-scientists to learn; that's what makes medicine great. But to call it a system based on illusions is a bit much.

Hell, immunology is one of the youngest fields of medicine, extant.

I'm one of them! East coaster, married with two kids, still in medical school. I haven't been to the theaters in 18 months, don't plan on going back.

Daughters WILL be homeschooled

Came here to say this. That said, many medical companies DO use the caduceus, such that the rod of asclepius is used more in hospitals and actual medical practices, while caduceus is used by for-profit companies. At least in my experience

No, it isn't creepy. Hippocrates and physicians in his tradition worked their ass off to treat patients, and to teach WHILE treating patients. They needed some security that their students would treat them with the same respect and care with which their teachers treated them. Apprenticeship.

Speaking as a medical student, I see some students treat their profs with LESS respect than they'd show to strangers or potential patients. It's kind of scary, the degree of entitlement that can be shown.

Yeah. But those who take them, take them very seriously.

Also, THE Hippocratic oath specified that a physician wouldn't provide means for an abortion. That's a big chunk of why the original oath had to go..

That one looks a bit... pandering to what we'd expect, honestly. Too good to be true.

This, here, looks somewhat more plausible https://itsgoingdown.org/forming-an-antifa-group-a-manual/

And their tactics describe quite closely how they operate:

  1. Doxxing

After doing your research, present information about racist organizing in your community. The information you release should present enough information to convince an average reader that the target is clearly a racist. Information should include, if possible: a picture, home address, phone number, social media profiles, and employment information. Be sure to include organizational affiliations and screenshots showing concrete evidence of racist and fascist views. Follow up the doxx with a pressure campaign: call their work and try to get them fired, and inform their neighbors through flyering or door-to-door campaigns.

When you present your intel, you’ll have showed your hand, however, and generally it’s difficult to collect more after that. Also be aware that you will enrage your target by naming them: you might have been ignored as a public group for a year doing antifa stuff, but once you refer to a local racist by name, they will fixate on you.

Make sure your intel is correct. You will lose credibility and create unnecessary enemies if you list a home address or work place that the fascist is no longer associated with. The majority of research can be done online, but some things can only be verified in the real world.

  1. Event shutdowns

Pressure venues to cancel racist or fascist events. Make sure you have your dossier on the subject prepared beforehand to present, as the first question will always be “How do you know they are a racist?” Approach venues with a friendly phone call, as often they are not informed about the politics of events at their space. However, if they don’t cancel immediately, they will almost always need to be pressured. Collect phone numbers, emails, and social media contacts and call for a shutdown. (We have found that it is helpful to make easily sharable graphics and short videos.) Threaten a boycott of the venue if they event goes on, and follow through on this. In Montreal, one racist concert was cancelled after antifa physically blocked the entrance.

And actually, that whole website from the above link seems pretty in-touch with their goings-on.
