I have a feeling. Today is going to be good.
This many cases on the docket.. they can’t just dismiss ALL of them with procedural errors.
I don’t know what will happen, but I am praying with faith that God will move in their hearts. We only need 4 for it to move forward with a hearing, I believe.
Yes they can. And a halfway decent chance they will.
I'm not sold SCOTUS is part of the plan. If SCOTUS is the plan, they won't hear it or rule until Oct. By Oct SCOTUS will likely be about 144 justices, so that plan is worthless.
I expect nothing to come of this, this is not the plan...
How do you know they will hear it in October? Did they already say something indicating that?
The normal procedure is this-
The conference is to decide if SCOTUS takes the case (take 4 justices to want the case). The spring cases aren't heard or decided until the fall.
I think the part you're missing is, if SCOTUS does things according to procedure, they won't hear the case till October. After that, they'll rule on it. Today is to decide if they want to hear it in October. Almost nothing comes of this today or anytime soon if they follow procedure.
Now, I can't tell you what the plan is, but having Biden destroy the country for another 7 months doesn't seem like a good plan to me. I could be wrong but I'll say it again, don't think SCOTUS is part of the plan.
John Roberts: hold my child slave, I mean beer
Sure they can. The Supreme Court rejects 97% of the cert petitions submitted to it. Most of those cases don't have procedural "errors"; the court just decides it doesn't need to hear them.
It would be very easy to decline to hear these. The suits primarily focus on alleged technical violations of state election laws. All SCOTUS has to say is: "Questions about state law are for state courts; those courts have ruled and we see no reason to second guess their judgment."
If they wanted to hear these cases, they could have granted the Trump campaign's motion for expedited review before January. The fact that they rejected that motion suggests that they're not that interested in hearing them period. They may decide to go ahead and hear them given the enormous public attention, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they decided to pass. At this point the general public has probably forgotten about the suits or assumes they're already dead, and the MSM will run a 200 word "cert denied" story on page 27.
