We can NEVER rely on someone else to do the research for us. If we do, we'll eventually find ourselves right back where we are now...and we won't have Trump to save us from ourselves.
This is what Q is trying to teach us -- we must remain forever vigilant. Freedom isn't free.
There is a story of grandparents from Soviet era who never waste a single grain of rice because they lived through famines. Also similar stories of people who lived through Great Depression. These traumatic experiences sears an imprint on their minds so deep that even after 100 years they never forget the intensity of their misery.
I want the same to happen to all of us. I want each and every one of us to be seared by the misery caused by Mainstream misinformation. Every time a friend called us a racist, or a grocery store denied us service for being anti-science, or the boss fired us for not proclaiming BLM, or the hundreds of articles calling us Violent Qanon Crazies - I want every on of this to leave such a deep imprint that for the rest of our lives, we refuse to take anything told to us by any one else at its face value and always ask the question "What do they get out of peddling this narrative?"
I agree. But, I would prefer that out future world will be brought back to a fundamental, simple system without all the unnecessary complexities. For example, a health system that is focused on wellness, nutrition and quality of life rather than pills, vaccines, a quest for immortality, and anti-depressants would require a lot less research and due diligence on my part.
Problem is, it's NEVER been a fundamental, simple system. Look how many centuries these evil families have ruled the world. Even if we get rid of every last one of them, there will still be evil in the world. We must remain "always vigilant."
Had we been vigilant, we would have never ended up in our current position. If we forget the lessons we've learned, we will only end up back where we started.
If you want to do less research and let others decide for you, then simply take a pass on the red pill. It's as simple as that.
Everything has its price. Choose wisely, grasshopper.
I don't disagree with the vast majority of what you say but I have to correct your mischaracterization of me as a "grasshopper". Caterpillar, perhaps, but not a grasshopper.
P.S. Okay, maybe a dung beetle
My humblest apologies, fren. ;-)
