They said that when you see a filename with an UUID in it, it's most likely used by the Three Letter Agencies, trying to lure people into their honey pot.
I saw a thread and saved it somewhere but I will have to look for it again, but yeah I think that's the gist of it...?
A UUID is supposed to be always unique. The chance of creating a duplicate UUID is so very, very small; it's negligible. But probably far, far greater than Biden winning the election.
Then the simple fact that a UUID is used for a filename, that's something I personally find odd.
Using a random name for a picture is something I can get behind. But actually using a UUID for a filename? I feel (intuition) that the chances of that happening by chance are probably similar as generating two similar UUID's.
Have you noticed that the filename is actually a UUID? A "Universally unique identifier" due to the massive amount of entropy used.
This may fit into something else...
Hmm, don’t know what that is but sounds intriguing ?
I think 4chan discussed this a lot.

i think some hosting sites purposely do this though.. change filenames this way to keep from having duplicate filenames.
May want to ask some 4chan autists? They had a thread about this a long time ago so maybe they can help you/us out on this?
TLA love to employ this kind of filename formatting, you'd see that often on 4chan. Not sure if it's the same for 8chan/kun.
