Weekly Discussion Thread - February 22nd - 28th
?️ DISCUSSION ?
We're going to try a weekly discussion thread to see how it goes. The expectation is that it will be posted on mondays so we don't split up weekend discussions.
Feel free to posts thoughts and suggestions.
I believe this post will get me banned from this site, which is unfortunate, but I really have to voice my feelings. I fundamentally disagree with 99% of the stuff I read on this site. I have this weird voyeur fascination with reading the posts on this site and while I completely respect everybodies right to their beliefs and am even impressed by the depth of research some of you engage in, this whole Donald Trump hero worship I see, as if this man cares about you or is interested in saving you, really makes me sad. Also, in the interest of truth, I am very much a social liberal, regularly vote democratic and seriously dislike Donald Trump and his clan but am also an Evangelical Christian who believes Jesus is the one and only savior and King who proudly served in the Marine Corps during Iraqi Freedom.
All of that being said, I want to say I understand where the anger comes from. This joke of an investigation from the New York AG seeking Trump's tax records is so close to fascism, such a disgraceful politically motivated volley launched at an ex President that I feel legitimate shame. I watched CNN read President Trump's statement while giggling and have to admit that I agree with him (mostly). It is disgraceful that a sitting AG of a state as consequential as NY is targeting a private citizen for purely political reasons and using loopholes in the justice system to publish tax return information that ought to remain private. This has opened my eyes, somewhat, to the plight of some on this forum and just want to say that while I disagree with most of your premises, I empathize with your anger and support your right to dissent.
Thank you for a thoughtful comment and for having an open mind to begin to see truth. I have been a conservative my whole life. I was appalled when Trump became the republican nominee. I felt he didn’t comport himself as a president should. However, as a Christian and reflecting on my extensive study of the book of Daniel and other scripture, I realized that God uses hard, flawed people for his purposes. He “sets up kings and deposes them.” David, whose psalms are so revered and his leadership honored was an adulterer and murderer!
I have learned to really respect Trump and appreciate all the sacrifices he has made, and slings and arrows he has endured in the effort to preserve the greatest nation the world has ever known.
I don’t have the time to do the deep research on Q drops that the anons here have done, but I have seen and understand enough to feel that there is a group of patriots who are fighting hard for liberty. It’s like having a glimpse of the spiritual warfare I have an inkling of that goes on in an unseen realm. I will continue to pray for them and our nation!
Continue to seek and learn - and I think having these types of respectful conversations with those around us, questioning what we are seeing, will be essential to the preservation of our republic.
you are a man of God and vote for abortion-promoting democrats? You are a shill.
While I don’t Vote for abortion and don’t take issue with your stance, I think it’s important to realize that “single issue voting” is a very easy way to control the masses. Humans have the right to think things through. Don’t be so easily controlled to vote for a Rino just because they claim to be anti abortion.
If you had a candidate that ticked every box in terms of lining up with your beliefs, but was heavily pro abortion, would you still vote for him, being a man of God?
I would have thought that was an important red line for many Christian's.
Only as important as the virtue signaling goes. Actual Christian behavior and values take precedent over cute little headline topics
Thank you for the well expressed post and empathy. Even if it is just to view us as a kind of Q zoo, it's admirable that you're curious about differing viewpoints. Whether they're conservative or liberal, most people can't handle that? https://theoatmeal.com/comics/believe_clean
And yep, I do love Pres Trump. Even if I didn't believe he gives a crap about any of us, I'd still love him for all he's already done for our country. (Does anyone have a link to that website where it lists the administrations accomplishments by subject? Economy, human rights, etc?)
Anyway, as an atheist who thought voting (for the uniparty!) was bullshit until Trump came along and started accomplishing things, you and I are quite different! That doesn't bother me at all though and actually makes me appreciate this civil discussion even more. ?? Take care ❤

Lol Former Democrat here. Voted for Obama first term.
I finally started looking into stuff after Trump was elected in 2016 (didn't vote at all in 2016) and started seeing more and more blatant lies being told by the MSM. They would summarize one of Trump's speeches berating him for this or that. Then, I actually watched the entire speech and realized they took things he said completely out of context. I found this eye opening. I also noticed the clear bias when I compared to how they covered Obama's presidency vs Trump. They ignored anything good he did and spun everything around to make it sound awful. It was so blatantly biased that I am honestly shocked by how many people don't seem to notice it at all and think it's normal to tell the news from such a biased angle. The news is supposed to report the facts and tell the story and let the viewer take those facts and form their own conclusions. Instead, we get propaganda that tells us how we are supposed to think about a story by covering it in a way where they clearly take sides. And this is true for both conservative and liberal news organizations. I just want unbiased reporting of the facts.
The more I dig, the more disturbing things I have discovered about who is really in charge and all of the ties between politicians and members of the media. I have found things out that turn my stomach and I know there is so much more.
I don't worship Trump. I worship God. I just admire Trump and believe he is a good (not perfect) man and an amazing president. He actually fights for the average American instead of for the establishment people. And I get it. He's brash and can be pretty crass. He's a typical New Yorker. I'm a Texan, so that kind of attitude doesn't bother me at all lol. I find him hilarious, and I love that he just says it like it is. It's refreshing. But hey, I get that he's not everybody's cup of tea. But I do not put him on the level of God. Do I believe God may be using him to achieve His plan? Of course. God uses all of us.
I myself was on the fence about Q up until a few weeks ago. Someone shared this video with me, and I have no logical explanation to explain how whoever is posting the Q posts is not working with Trump. This video lays it all out there. I am really curious to hear your thoughts about it if you're interested. I have no problem having conversations/debates with people who are respectful and open to having a discussion.

This is the video. I really hope you watch it because I'd love to hear your opinion about it. Much love to you my friend.
I’m a former liberal. I once hated Trump. But I started noticing too many things that did not make sense last year. I decided to check out what conservatives were talking about. The deeper I got into it, the more I realized I had been lied to. And the lies kept piling up. And it reached a point where I discovered that literally everything the msm says is the total opposite of reality. And then I became frightened when I understood why they are doing this and what is REALLY happening while we sleep.
And it finally occurred to me- Trump is the only thing stopping this. He is standing up against the evil of the whole world. He just wants to stop the world from killing itself. It’s not him they are after. It’s me and you. He is just in their way.
No one here worships Trump. We worship God. Trump is not an egotistical maniac with a god complex making money off idiots. He’s risking his life and LOSING money trying to save all of us, whether we like him or curse him.
You sound like you’re getting restless, you’re stirring. Keep looking. Look more. Read more, watch more. No one here will try to tell you what to believe. See the proof with your own eyes. It’s all there. But being awake makes it hard to sleep at night.
One last thought- grand solar minimum. Once you accept everything being put out there is the opposite of truth, think about global warming. Suddenly it will make sense.
I’m happy to read dissenting opinions as long as they are polite. I find it strange you spend so much time reading here when you fundamentally disagree with the content.
A lot of people here are former democrats. At some point, you realize that their platform sounds great but can never ever work. Just look at the last month of Biden. He promised everything, yet all he did was give your money away to countries that hate us.
It has always been this way. When Bernie promises to pay for your healthcare, why does no one ask why healthcare is so expensive in the first place?
Donald Trump signed bills to decrease costs.
Why is student loan debt so outrageous? Dems promise to pay for it, without addressing the cause. Then they tax you and break their promise.
Actions over words. When you say Donald Trump doesn’t care about us, his policies have improved my life more than any other president in the last 40 years. Democrats sound all lovey-dovey, but their actions prove they are liars.
