I find it curious that of Trump's 3 nominees to SCOTUS, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett, only his 1st nominee, Gorsuch, dissented. As we have seen ourselves, these 3 are by no means bad Justices.
Meanwhile, Thomas and Alito, being the 2 principled men that they are, would always vote to hear out the election fraud. Opposing them are 4 highly compromised or ideologically-driven justices, Roberts, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan, who will always vote against Trump no matter what.
A minimum of 4 Justices were needed to hear the case. One would expect that, which the players Trump has on SCOTUS, we would have easily had the support of 5 Justices, but no, we get only 3. Did Trump choose badly? No, why would he screw up a unique, life-long and nation-critical nomination against himself 3 times?
What I see is that Trump has somehow had Gorsuch dissent to show those of us wavering in faith that he didn't pick his 3 Justices wrongly at all, but that he must lose here in order to proceed in timely fashion to the next step. Perhaps had they allowed this to be heard by SCOTUS, the process would be delayed until the end of proceedings, which could very well drag out into the Fall, or an outcome unfavorable to Trump's team would emerge. What do you guys think?
As pissed as I am right now, I have to agree with you. Trump knows his enemies. They, obviously, don't know him at all.
