That is interesting. I'm seeing a few more fighters outside the training areas than we usually see but not many. There do seem to be a lot of training flights up but seems they were always congested in the past. hmmm. Maybe the military is sending us comms to shut up, stop dooming, it's in the works. lol
From what I can tell there is a huge uptick in fighter planes in FL panhandle, TX, and OK. Many have the classification of TEX2 for the Raytheon T6-A Texan II.
There are 124 TEX2 up as I type this.
I sometimes wonder though. Is this just a Type displayed to hide the true identity of F-35s, F-16s, etc. If you are going to train, shouldn't you train on the actual combat plane you are going to use in battle? If not, we sure as hell have a lot of T6 trainer aircraft.
There are several flying training bases in Texas, as well as in OK and FL panhandle. The T6 or Tex II is only a trainer. It's a beginner jet trainer. Later, after completing training and getting an assignment, training continues on assigned jet. It's 75 and sunny here in Texas today - perfect day for flying.
Seems like an awful lot of trainers in the sky at one time. I guess I would have to confirm what is normal, but it seemed like a lot from what I have seen in the past. I do know that VIP planes sometimes fly with bogus plane types and call signs. Not sure if the same holds true with others. My cousin flies for the NG so I will ask next time we chat.

That's a good point, I don't know what's normal for number of trainers.
Closing in on 450 now, the most I've seen yet.
An E-4B Nightwatch callsign CLUB25 just landed at Robins AFB in Georgia
Your settings are correct. I see 414 46 mins later. Tons of jeft fighter activity in jacksonville.
An E-8C Jointstars off the coast of FL near TRUMP. Training?
