You own your medical records. They can't not give them to you.
Yes. But they keep a copy.
Between Desert Storm, OIF then OEF my DoD Shot Record is a mile long. However before I moved I got my Hospital med records but they were firm that I would only get copies. Dunno if I got everything but doubt it.
And they'll charge what they want to make that copy before the hand them over to you.
No, there’s a max by law they can charge, something like .25 cents a page.

Doctors know how to regurgitate info they have learned by rote.
They do not learn to think for themselves.
Exceptions exist, but the average doc is a follower.
Also, they can get their licenses yanked if they don't obey the med mafia.
