I’m a band director. This is the most disturbing thing I have ever seen. Yet, my sports team can play games, take their team picture together while arm in arm but my kids can’t play. It has been almost a year. Next week we go back to school and they can play with special instrument specific PPE......outside....6 feet apart. Hey kiddos, I’m sorry it’s 37 degrees out here. Suck it up butter cup. It will be years, 5-10, before band programs recover. Sigh.
