Diabolical! Yes, "it" is a "grown up male" and "it" belongs in a mental institution.

Prior to the 60s, people like that were diagnosed as being mentally sick and locked up for being a danger to children and a civil society.

To be so repulsed by people like him, is just a natural God-given instinct.
