Just updated our SSID. Thanks for the reminder!

What'd be better is to make it an open Wi-Fi and route any and all traffic to a page that talks about it, along with links to some Q resources.
Preferably placed in a busy area.
Brilliant! Yep... I'll make that happen when I get back home later this evening.
you could do this with a second wAP and make it open but the only traffic allowed is to specific pages. Easy Enough. Or archive all of it offline, and put a raspberry pi server on the router/AP and have no internet connectivity. So you basically can connect to a file server that's offline with no other devices connected. Just an idea.
That's awesome! Would love to see what you come up with for a landing page! ?
Would love to do that too. Would need help to make it happen. Any help would be appreciated
Also worth knowing is that if you have any old wireless routers lying around (say what? not everyone else is like me? ?), you can easily just plug them in and have them broadcast your chosen spicy SSID name, but not have to configure them to actually be connected to the internet.
This way, if you have a friend come over and asks if he can use your wi-fi, you won't need to say "Oh, sure, just look for 'Democrats Are Pedo-Murderers').
And if they say "Hey, look, there's a router called 'Democrats Are Pedo-Murderers'", you can just tell them that your neighbor is really based.
And if they asked what "based" means... you can tell them! Red pills for everyone, bartender!
I use Ubiquity Unifi APs. Each one can have up to 4 SSIDs at a time. I use 3 of the SSIDs for legitimate purposes and have been changing the 4th one periodically. Thanks for the reminder :). It has been broadcasting Trump Won for the last 3 weeks. Now it says Biden is a Pedo
How do you do this? Please point me in the direction, I’ve tried before...
Depends on who manufactured your router. It's a pretty simple task. Find the make and model of your router and search for the manual online. You can typically change the SSID and password to whatever you like. Also, the login on most of them is not secure, so be sure you fix that if it's not.
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Typically you just go to a browser and type in 192.168.1.1 into the URL bar, then the user/pass will be something basic like admin/pass or admin/admin
From there you can change various settings
Rarely do I hate living in the woods with no neighbors.
Some idiot around me has their's named 'SparklingUnicorn'! ?
