Inderectly related, but PE and PP prices are skyrocketing for the next few months. Some of the reasons are due to events pre-POTATUS, but I firmly believe their actions in the near future will compound the situation. This affects nearly all consumer products to some degree. Even a spike in packaging cost is passed on to the consumer, somehow.
The USA has traditionally had amazingly cheap fuel. There are a few other cheap fuel countries such as Saudi Arabia but most of the world pays through the nose for petrol/gasoline.
I'm in England and the average fuel price today is 1.22 British pounds per litre. There are roughly 4 litres to a US gallon.
1.22 x 4 = 4.88 GBP = 5.88 US dollars per gallon
Yes it's almost six dollars per gallon here.
I have no idea if the price has risen recently because I have been locked in my house since December. Last filled up before Christmas.
$2.79 AZ - was at $2.19.
Same. We started the year arouns 2.19 as well. Do the math. 50c a gallon x 400 million gallons a day. Thats a 200 million dollar a DAY scam.
I was out today in Mesa AZ and it ranged from $2.99 to $3.19, and it was $2.19.
Yeah that’s about right. I get my gas at Costco so it’s usually $.20 less or so. So 279 is where I got it at Costco on country club at Baseline.
Funny to see Patriots nearby. Higley and mckellips was just 3.09, which is 30% higher than a month ago.
