It's not just today's society this is a perfect analogy of. This has been going on for a very, very long time. Our entire world has been a centuries long (at least) Luciferian PsyOp.

I think the founding fathers created a new nation that was partially free from them for a short while, but that ended very quickly, and they regained complete control over us in the 19th century. America has been this meme ever since.
