Seems like a pretraining for something we will be seeing a lot more of in the future. Only it won't be 'welfare' checks but more like a way to make sure citizens are obeying the laws and not being 'rebellious' towards the communist leadership soon to be here unless there are some MAJOR changes done to protecting the freedoms and Constitution.
This is a rural area outside of Portland. They had severe freezing temps and loss of power for a couple of weeks. I live in Oregon and notice the eldery... Contrary to belief our state is RED. South of Eugene is where most ex military and vets live. We just sit and wstch them eat themselves. Open carry stats too!
Not everything is about government planning something evil against us. I can't speak for Oregon because I've never been there but typically if there's a storm, disaster or whatever and people may be without power etc, it's not uncommon for police to check on people, especially elderly to make sure they are ok.
The PC was the authorized head gear starting in 2011, with Berets being for celebratory events at the commanders discretion.. I went through this transition, having to carry a PC in one pocket, Beret in another, cold weather cap in another.. It got confusing depending on where you were...
They're the Air Force Security Forces berets, you can tell by the patch on the front. With the subdued USA flag on their shoulders, probably an ANG unit.

"why don't you let me come in and look around to make sure you are safe" "if you have nothing to hide it shouldn't be a problem"

When did we start wearing Berets again?

National Guard are Municipal Corporation forces. Not under Trump.
Also Scott Kesterson from BardsFM lives in the Southern part of Ore. Good source for info.

"Peace" sign. "Q" is index and thumb.
That is why I just deleted it. I went back and looked at the pic again and realized he was using two fingers.
I'm in Oregon but live in a rural red county. Clackamas is the county Portland is in. Wounder if they are preparing for blackouts in that county?
