I've always wondered how we were able to confirm it was still the same group after the 4chan exodus. I never use the boards and stuck with aggregators so I never dug into how that transition went or was "approved" by the movement as a whole.

As far as I know it was always the trip code, but I don't go on the boards very much at all TBH.
