I remember seeing footage of the black guy carrying a pizza box following umbrella window smasher about a block away from the AutoZone after the initial confrontation. Haven't seen that video since a couple days after the riot. I always got the impression that they weren't together (my opinion) because the black guy seemed genuinely pissed. And umbrella man looked agitated, almost like he thought it was going to be easier to get away with then this pizza box dude was making it.
Yep, saw the same videos. Plausible explanation to me is they were both at a protest and thought they were on the same side. Maybe even made friends during the protest. Then it was like pizza dude saw window smasher smash and he was like "whoa I'm not down with that".
