I have a 6 yr old and he has been in speech therapy at school. He goes every day all day all year. Private Christian Trinity. Well we had conferences. She beleives Liam has Apraxia of speech. It's can never be cured per say. But it can be managed. I'm scared walking into untreaded territory.
I messaged the mods about this 3 days ago about where to post this to avoid a suspension. So if this needs deleted and replaced somewhere else please let me know and I'll move it. I never got a response from any of the mods so accept my apology if I posted in the wrong place.

Prayers. New diagnosis are hard on the entire family. I’m a special needs parent. There are so many “not great” things we “could” dwell on but we choose to love and enjoy instead.
I highly suggest mental therapy with a Christian therapist and prayer. Then find the good and dwell on that.
Evil is trying to suck your joy. Don’t let it win.
Whether you are wiping the drool off of your child’s chin, or shuttling from therapy and dr. Find the joy. Literally find it and make it up if you have to, some days you will. Your joy is the priority because it feeds into the hearts and attitudes of the rest of the family also going through this hard time.
