I would not say it is the product of white hats. I would however say that someone came up with a clever troll way of pushing the sexuality agenda to its logical conclusion. So if [super]straight was at one point considered default or normal sexual preference as you continue your awareness campaign with all other sexual preferences it eventually gets buried. Therefore it's not inconceivable that at some point people would feel the need to re-identify as [super] straight. The beauty is that when it is attacked for being exclusionary the lefty rhetoric against attacks is employed. Moreover since super straight is a sexual preference it's not as if you are going against trans human rights and anyone saying that you are doing that by refusing to have sex or date them just looks silly. Can you imagine the war cry "trans people have the right to demand you have sex with them?" More evidence that this conclusion would be logical: cis man/woman trans man/woman two terms; therefore straight super straight logically two terms.
