I was literally thrilled to see at least 5 people sans masks yesterday at Walmart. Usually, I’m the only one without a mask. At times, there might have been one other. I think this week there will still be quite a few people wearing them, but I think you’ll be surprised that there will also be those who’ve had enough. And once others spot the one’s who’ve had enough, the masks will start to come off.?
I hope so! I've just lost so much faith in humanity as a whole. I can count on one hand the # of times I have worn a mask.... and even then most of those times it was a mask made of lace lol
I honestly avoid being around masked ppl as much as possible, so when I am out and about and see ppl in masks, it still feels odd and foreign to me which is good. Psychologically, I never wanted to get to the point where masks seem normal.
You and me both. I never thought I would be the type to order groceries online, but if it saves me from having to deal with mask nazis I’ll do it. The phrase “new normal” has always made me cringe, and there is no way I would ever psychologically consider any of this normal.
I continually tell my son this, so he will not see it that way either. The brainwashing it’s caused is quite scary. Maybe the reason I’m immune to the brainwashing was the fact I used to want to be a psychologist when I was in college. I know the tricks that go along with it. Oh and also the fact, I have common sense.?
Hahaha! I actually hate grocery shopping, so I already was ordering my groceries. I'm also a homemaker and a homebody, so my life really hasn't changed all that much. Being able to go back to church has been the best thing. And less than 5% of people wear masks at my church, so it is really nice to go and everything is so normal!
I too am immune to brainwashing. I get it from my mom. She was always skeptical and questioned everything, and I'm the exact same way. I was just talking to my sister about this the other day, and she laughed and said I was just like our Mommy. I always feel like I took more after our dad, so it's always nice when I can hear that I'm like our mom, too :)
I think it's really difficult to brainwash very curious and skeptical people. I do not trust easily, and I always look at actions over words. So people screaming about climate change that take private jets and buy mansions on the beach do not scream "credible" to me. It's just interesting to see the divide. But it comes down to trust. Very trusting people are going to be much easier to fool. I don't trust anyone until they have earned my trust lol
