If lactose intolerant then definitely stay away from it but meat is incredibly healthy, its what we evolved on for 1.8 million years until 12,000 years ago.

Oh i hear you. Organic and free range if you can afford it.
Problem is that if you go eat plant foods they're riddled with glyphosates and shit too. Plus plants have loads of self defense poisons/anti nutrients like phytates, tannins, lectins, oxalates..
Ill take my chances with meat.
We also do need vitamin D and calcium in then winter. I love steak. Chicken gets me queasy sometimes. I eat more veggies and fruit in the summer because more is grown locally.
best you can do. I will plant alot of plants this year and I will buy over 6 acres or land. Where I live I can grow almost everything, from avocado to orange and lemon trees.

It's the meat that is worrying to me - I wonder constantly what they have added to our foods.

I also have a garden every year to save a ton of money.

Cow milk was made for baby cows ?
You might need to top up with B12 and zinc. Possibly iron if you are female. I've been vegetarian and nearly vegan since '82.
I think that some people can handle this diet better than others. It depends on your genetics and what your ancestors ate. people are different.
