But if they were being led out of the WH why wouldn't Trump and his family KNOW about the tunnels and get them before he left office? This just doesn't make sense to me.

I really don't believe he has been. Why else would he sign executive orders to eliminate human sex trafficking? If he was one of them, he wouldn't have done that.
