Newbie here but figured I would chime in. Keep the ban but give them a chance to explain themselves should they want to do that. Have someone, like a moderator, privately reach out to them for comment like reporters used to do before they became sell-outs.
If they don't want, or care, to defend themselves then they've effectively plead "no contest" and the damning information stands as should the ban. It's exactly how the legal system in this country is supposed to work, seems fitting.
Well that makes that decision an easy one. That genuinely bothers me they would do that, though it isn't unexpected. It's a shame Evspra got attacked so bad for trying to minimize the intrusion of what equates to a false prophet for the Q movement. This is an information war and we can't allow bad actors any quarter on our side of the battlefield.
