Not to get too far off-topic but... you got my inner moto-geek piqued!
I love the VStrom. However, I'm more of a Honda Interceptor guy myself. Japanese police forces used Interceptors. Have you ever seen one of their technical skills tests?
Nice. I have an 85 V65 Sabre.
First of the Honda V4s. I call it the interceptor's uncle.
The v engine is smooth much more so than the inline 4s on the Ninjas. Interceptor's are sweet rides. But I'm too old to be riding that style.
My first motorcycle was a V45 Sabre! It had an oil leak and was heavy and the shocks were soft and needed rebuilding, but it got me into the world of motorcycling. Then I graduated to a Ninja 650 which was a step-down in power and weight but allowed me to practice technical skills and was my first "road-trip" bike.
Now I own a VFR800... my second 5th gen. I'm in the process of slowly getting it ready for the riding season. I have to put a new DID chain and sprocket kit and get the fairings back on because i just changed all the fluids. It'll be great to get out of the house again and back on 2 wheels...

The white bike in this video is basically the same one that I currently own, but in red and without the police livery.
