Has anyone tried/had any luck with a conversation discussing how HCQ, with a 50+ year history of safety, was deemed “too dangerous” to use as a treatment for wuflu, but these same people are pushing a completely untested “vaccine” and claiming it’s safe?

Haven't tried it. Here's how I'd approach it though. Start the question as an abstraction, unrelated to COVID.
Ask, "if there was a drug that has been tested for decades, with little side effects and is a highly effective treatment, and, there was a new experimental "treatment" (leaving "vaccine" out for now), which bypassed many typical testing protocols for safety and effectiveness, which would you want?"
Go from there.
I know numerous doctors who have uncharacteristically denounced HCQ and embraced the experimental vaccine. To my utter astonishment they parrot the party line without understanding the hypocrisy of their position. Both of my wife's parents are in nursing homes. She hasn't been able to see them other than through a plexiglass window. They can't understand why she can't sit next to them in person and hold hands, or hug and kiss each other. Now, they've upped the ante and said that no in-person visit unless the visitor is fully vaccinated and can provide an official document verifying vaccination and a post vax period of 14 days has elapsed. Neither my wife nor I will get the vaccine. It's causing her so much anxiety. Her brother is a leftwing loon that thinks we should be in re-education camps and he's a psychiatrist MD.
I understand the University of Pittsburgh has been working on a vaccine which doesn't use mRNA but rather the more tried and true method as regular flu vaccines that doesn't turn the receiver into a GMO. That's the only one we'd take if they can get it approved. This is complete insanity on steroids.
First, I have taken HCQ for arthritis 20 years ago. No negative side effects for me but stopped using after a few months before it didn't help my arthritis. So it is safe. Second, good luck finding a Dr to give or to you. I have Heart failure which makes me high risk. Or so I thought until I got the China Virus for Christmas. My Cardiologist said that the only thing she can give me is cough meds. Said she would not give me any prophylactic meds. What was the point of freaking out by my being high risk if she wasn't going to help me BEFORE I end up in the hospital. It was some ridiculous bullshit I tell ya. I survived the WuFlu without help from Kaiser. Woohoo!

Problem is, doctors won't prescribe it in certain localities, so it seems out of reach for a lot of people. The vaccine is everywhere and you get social points for getting it.
