Probably because they are wrapping up preparations and almost ready to put the plan underway. Even if that's not what's going on, I do have to say I love this energy.
It’s gettin spicy y’all.
Loving it. pop pop pop pop pop mmmmm crunch
I have no particular problem with Donald Jr., but those pink shirts and that "glory-hole face" expression he's always wearing have got to go.
Start acting like a man.
Actually, the whole gender-confusion campaign started a long time ago:
Ladies' Home Journal article in June 1918 said, "The generally accepted rule is pink for the boys, and blue for the girls. The reason is that pink, being a more decided and stronger color, is more suitable for the boy, while blue, which is more delicate and dainty, is prettier for the girl."
Then it all flip-flopped in 1940:
In the 1940s manufacturers settled on pink for girls and blue for boys, so Baby Boomers were raised with wearing the two colors.

I call foul on your source, but I appreciate the concept of devil's advocate.
Admittedly no source isn't better than a poor source, but my understanding was that blue was considered a color of protection (e.g. prominent in Israel) while pink was similar to skin color, and so associated with girls for encouraging or suggesting marital relations.
If we wanted a strong or bright color for boys, I'd have thought red or orange to be more easily available, long-used colors.
Jr. isn't a baby-boomer, he's a late-stage Gen-X.
The bigger problem is that gloryhole-face expression. --He's really gotta stop doing that. You never see his father making that face, not even when when he's schmoozing with Fruity Rudy-in-drag in a comedy skit.
