i hadn't seen a prayer post in a while but there is one on the HOT page now.. I dont think they should be deleted.. as long as its a daily thread and not 1000 individual posts
Please keep in mind nothing is out of bounds for the opposition.
It would be a solid move for the opposition to come in here and raise a stink about god by posting shit that looks and sounds genuine, only to be a set up to cause division.
They hate God. They hate Q, They hate you. They hate all of us.
Anything that dilutes the truth they will try.
Personally I would rather 90% of the truth gets thrown out with the bullshit, then see the remaining truth diluted by it.
If he is a good guy then he needs to knock it off with these posts because it sure looks like he is coming on for the sake of arguing and preaching, and not in good faith.
Sure. But since Q devotes a certain amount of time/energy to mentioning God/prayer then how is it not 'on topic'? Feel free to deflect/dissemble/bloviate.
how is it not 'on topic'? Feel free to deflect/dissemble/bloviate.
Sure. Ask a question, and then mock answers you haven't even gotten yet.
LOL you surrendered your license to complain about bloviating when you filled an entire thread with near-identical posts whining and crying about the exact. Same. Complaint: The bone you're picking with one of the mods. Fascinating reading! Not.
I'd just like to say that I'm an atheist. I've frequently sided with religious people on these boards about various important issues because I believe in religious freedom.
That said I agree that low energy posts that are nothing but religious mantras and a call to prayer can be a little annoying to me. Although I guess what is low energy and what's not can be a little subjective. I'm just saying I see 1-2 posts a day that I just brush past or I'm irritated that the title fooled me into clicking it when it was nothing but someone spewing about their faith in god. If that's your deal great. Please post about it on a religion board where it will be appreciated.
Yeah, Q talks about prayer and god a lot. Truth is he irritates me with that sometimes because there are people out here that are real atheists who are also patriots. Not all "atheists" are leftists/Marxists government worshiping cultists. He says we are stronger together yet he unintentionally excludes people like me. I get it though. Its not intentional so I move on. There are also not many of us so meh...
Its also why I ignore the religion in posts that include far too much of it but are also high energy solid posts. Clearly the poster is religious. That's his/her prerogative. But low energy low effort... hey every pray with me stuff is just annoying and has no other purpose for someone like me.
If you're not going to ban it then at least put a religion flair on it so people like me don't bother clicking on it.
Matt 10:34 Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
Not all forms of division are evil. There are two types of division. 1) division generated by the Enemy (evil) for the intent of destroying. 2) division instigated by God (good) for the purpose of separating out evil and upholding the Purpose of good.
It's critical to distinguish between these two diametrically opposed types of division.
I am against censorship as much as the next anon. Censorship is being used by the Enemy worldwide now to corral and undermine the human race, in each nation, state and community.
And, I'm certainly not what you'd call a fan of Cats5, but I think his stickied comment at the top is on point, and to THE point.
Just because something is 'religious' or touches on spiritual matters doesn't, and shouldn't, make it sacrosanct.
We need to stop banning people who disagree with us, stop censoring people who seem to have ulterior motives.
That's ONE side of the equation, but not the WHOLE equation. See below.
Can’t we just let the upvotes decide what stays and what goes?
Up to a point. There has to be SOME curation. Mods have to utilize and enforce the rules.
The standard of HIGH effort vs low effort, however, can be wielded a little too broadly and easily. Cat5 probably needs to realize that the members of this community are valuable anons and patriots, and deserve to be treated with a little respect. Don't let mod powers go to your head!
Middle ground
Balance is what is needed, imo. Catty could curb his voracious modding shearing a bit, it would help. Feedback is necessary, and when the enemy IS attacking using division, balance is what preserves overall integrity and cohesion.
So far, I've seen extremes: Cats5 deleting and removing posts and accounts even, seemingly willy nilly (despite his good intentions and motives); then calls for him to step down (aka this post).
Both sides need to work on their own extremes:
Cats to curb his propensities to some extent, and take stock of the feedback (that's his responsibility).
The community to respond to Cats initiative: to refocus on high effort posts and eschew low effort efforts (that's their responsibility) ...
That's the solution in my view, although it actually requires some effort and probably stepping outside the comfort zone for BOTH parties. You cannot FORCE someone to be responsible.
Awareness of this point will help.
Cohesion and resilience are forged via active execution of responsibility by all parties involved. No other way around it. And just pointing to one side, or the other, and saying "its your fault" can help if its feedback, but then the next step has to be "I've got to improve MY game".
A community formed from people with such an attitude and integrity will be invincible and indeed, impervious to division the Enemy attempts to sow.
Can’t you guys see this is dividing us?
We need to stop banning people who disagree with us, stop censoring people who seem to have ulterior motives. Let the anons decide for themselves.
Catsfive, I know you are just trying to run a tight ship, but division is the tool of the enemy.
Is there some sort of middle ground ?
Can’t we just let the upvotes decide what stays and what goes?
It's not about George. They were just stickying daily prayer posts a couple of days ago. Now theyre outright deleting them. Just seems odd.

NO!
How about no
It's a Q board, not an ulterior motives board
I'm not against keeping it on topic

Feel free to blow-viate me.
Right - but who’s to say really? Mods have to make a judgment call on what’s opposition to the cause. Humans are prone to failure.
Have we been wrong on a topic and later reversed course? (George news)
Low effort post vs. high effort post.
You got a problem with that?
Can we get rid of Uthred as well? He also stepped on my religious freedoms. I was just too ashamed to speak out at first.

Thank you for your thoughts and detailed response. I agree with your points and Cats’ response. Let keep the board “high energy.”
Thanks Cloud. I appreciate the sincerity your attempting to throw into the mix.
There are other dimensions to all this, as I'm finding out, including evspra's departure, and issues inside the mod system.
Feels a bit like fog of war has descended on GWIN....
Anyway, be well.
If the voting system was fair!
Upvotes are easily manipulated.
I upvoted. 1 went to OP and 3 went to biden
That's the whole point of this comp'd ass mod team. They've been sowing division this whole time, too bad for them they still can't control us.
You can tell it pisses them off and they hate us, especially when they have to try and troll to have fun with their miserable shill jobs.
T_D mods don't fuck around like that. Know why? They aren't shills that hate their jobs.
I've said this before and I got banned by the mods. Seriously, the mods here are fags, that's why I don't post much.
