I live in Oklahoma and an old guy didn't necessarily yell but did the whole "where's your mask, you gotta have a mask on" hall monitor ritual in the parking lot outside of the Braum's. I wonder if he had an anyeurism when he went inside and saw only half of the employees wearing them and none of the customers.

This is fact... as an okie everybody kept saying this "we lifted the mask mandate"... but we never announced a statewide mask mandate... It seems like people here have been washed into believing we had a mask mandate to begin with.
OK resident here. We’re pretty based around here even our Democrats are more conservative than most RINOs we see in DC. I would say at most 70% of people wear a mask around here. Mask wearing has been dropping significantly for a few weeks now.
Walmart and Target ask “do you have a mask”...and when you say no they dont do anything they still let you walk in. For some reason its the liquor stores that are freaking obsessed with making you wear them.

Now the burger place down the highway, they're owned by a based Christian Trump supporter. He made his employees stop wearing them and has his patrons do whatever now.
We never had a state wide mask mandate . In my part we never had one at all .stores may require and I abide if they confront as I'm proponent of their right to make rules for their business but 95% of the time we walk past the sign and no one says anything no mask shaming here that I've found
I’ve never had a mask here in OK. At least the city I live in never mandated it. The mask nazis are in downtown OKC. Leftists hellhole in the middle of red state
It was basically up to the city... but here ok Tulsa, no one gives a shit. You can go anywhere without one and no one says anything. Obviously Karens are about but whatev.
I would visit Tulsa periodically (TU Alum)

Mask mandate lifted in Texas. The 2 or 3 places I've been have dropped the requirement, but they still force their employees to wear them and "request" or "recommend" you wear one.
I stopped immediately, but omg so many people still wearing them as if nothing changed. WTF people.
Since lifting mask mandate in Texas here in El Paso it's like nothing changed! People walk around doubled! Mask, gloves, and stores still require masks. Sheep are plenty her in Liberalville as I call it.

Yeah. The.wording sucks. Just moved from TX to OK. Asshat Abbot did decree a.statewide mandate. OK only had a requirement for state buildings.
So, I guess technically a mandate, but at least one somewhat within the realm of control of the governor (somewhat).
