Ya, looking at this video it does look like her right arm comes around front. It wouldn't make since she was arrested on this date, Trump was not in office yet. I think the thing that hit the ground could have been a charm bracelet she had on her right arm. It didn't look like she was resisting, looked like her knees were buckling.
I remember someone saying at the time that the thing that fell was some kind of signal to SS that she's having health problems. She holds a metal object in her hands and if it falls they know she's having a seizure or some sort of other trouble.
The cuffs theory I've only just heard today for the first time.
Prior to this, the lore around this was that crooked was shitting herself (having earlier almost passed out), and her hands were behind her back trying to not let anything fly loose. When being pulled forwards to be thrown in the van, it left her famous shoe behind that has subsequently been the shining star referenced in every Ben Garrison comic featuring the crooked one.
Metal dropping from what it looked like a pant leg was postulated to be an ankle or leg brace or support of some kind particular to people with her level of infirmity.
Thanks, I just live recorded that so I could manipulate it, zoom in, and scrub back and forth right where it shows her hand coming out. Both hands are definitely behind her back at first. Not sure what happens at that point, it’s very odd.
She did appear handcuffed to me, though I never noticed that before. At the beginning of the video, she is leaning on that balustrade and you can just make out the skin of her hand above it. Also, her elbows are jutted out to the side as they are when someone is handcuffed behind their backs.
I have rewatched this a few times but don't see her arm flying out or the thing dropping.
I remember this very distinctly because I remember being so horrified by it. I thought, even for those who like and support her, this should be the final nail to convince them she is not fit for office.
Looking at the way she was leaning on that bollard, I always thought she looked as stiff as a mannequin. And honestly, seeing ONLY this much of her - obviously from the back - it did occur to me to ask, is that even her? But then of course you'd have to wonder why the SS response if it was a stand in. I don't know. The whole thing was weird.
However, I'd like to say that I did watch for her arm flailing, just as you said, and this time I did see it move, but I also thought it was a fairly constrained move. It appeared to me that she would still be handcuffed, but not in the way we typically think .. in a way where there is more movement allowed, as though there were more links in the cuffs that allowed for more movement.
And I did hear the clink you mentioned that time. Thanks for helping me see those points. I appreciate it.
On this high quality video you posted you can definitely see that her hands are behind her back. At 11 sec, if you go very very slow you can see her fingers and it’s not the other women’s because you’d be able to see their arms , they don’t have long sleeves. Thanks for posting this! I’ve watched this a lot trying to see a while ago and never could.

If you look extremely closely, you'll see the back of the head of someone who might be Hillary.

Remembering from the original video, I think it was her shoe that fell off and something dropped out of her pant leg.

It's obvious that she is not handcuffed in that video.
