I had few buddies that went to either national guard or reserves and switched their MOS, they will never live it down ever, I like to text them randomly just solely to talk shit, it makes them feel loved and thought about
It's sad. In the other post I just made, I referenced one -- of many -- comments I had made to me after talking about the Guard, and it annoys me to this day.
As someone who isn't in the military, I don't need to see the negativity between them. Certainly I don't need that negativity aimed at them through me by proxy.
Because if you never served you wouldn't get it. Its a consistent trash talk (friendly) between all branches and within the branches what job you do but its all in good fun and no matter what your job is would never wish ill or death on another service member no matter what, so shame on you thinking any service member wishes illness or death on another. Just proves you have zero knowledge of us service members both active and vets and should watch how you use your words.
It's the context and current conversation that by saying they are mocked by other service members we condone this type of behavior and it could easily misinterpreted as such, thats why I said you should watch your words, that is all, I didn't scold the person, if you took my message as a scolding then I will pray a little extra for you both today.
You definitely attempted to scold me and it's fine. Saying "shame on you" is a faux-polite way of scolding. But again, that doesn't matter. We're just two dudes on the internet.
But "friendly trash talk" doesn't need to pop up on every single post supporting the Guard, and it pretty much has every time I post something positive.
That's a fact. That gets old.
Don't care if that is a thing you guys do; that's you.
But for me, when I try to be positive and there is always a downer saying something like "LOL NATIONAL GUARD AREN'T TRAINED LOL", that gets old.
And as always, to be clear, it's a really pussy thing to trash talk anyone behind their back -- you can be the most battle hardened badass but you're nothing more than a pussy if you have to do it behind their back.
So the ones taking every opportunity to shit talk the Guard to someone who isn't in military are pussies, period, and I'm dealing with enough pussies every day that I don't need our own side being pussies.
Yeah but for some reason other branches mock them every single time I try to praise them and it gets old ?

Still, does the trash talk need to happen every time someone praises them?
Because that's how it often has been the past few years.
