Hi - forgive me, as I am still relatively new to the site, but can you tell me what is meant by a handshake account? I see the little icon of two hands shaking by his username, but I don't understand the significance. Thanks in advance :)
Relatively new user. Others may chime in with specific meanings but generally speaking it's someone who has only recently signed up and sometimes (but not always) their motives are a tad suspect. I do not know what the criteria is for removing the handshake - I anticipate it is some mix of your post/comment scores and the number of days elapsed since you joined.
I've always thought our massive military budget was a good thing. Weakness leads to war, power leads to peace. If they want peace, they want us having a massive military.
And another handshake account starts up the crapshow.

There's a handshake beside the username that indicates it's a new account.
How new? Is mine a handshake account? (I don't see it but maybe you do?)
