You're right, they do. I just hope that people realize that just having a gun or rifle doesn't automatically mean they're protected. I like to promote training and education on firearms and safety as much as possible. But you're right, I should have worded that differently - they have that right even if they're not trained. They may indeed be a danger without training - not only to others but themselves (the false sense of security for owning a gun if you don't know what to do with it, that is.)

They have 2A rights even if they aren't educated on firearms. They may be a danger that way but it's their right.
