Seriously. I saw 5 rounds of 12ga birdshot going for $60.
If someone breaks into my home it might be cheaper to just let them steal everything.

One friend of mine, a gun enthusiast who also runs a gun shop, hounded people for 3 years to buy ammo because he could see what was going to happen....and sure enough! Now he needles anyone who complains because they didn't listen.

I forget where I heard this.....some show sponsor but I can't recall the show?! Anyways, it was an advertisement for some sort of laser setup that you rig a gun with so that you can target practice without expending precious (and expensive!) ammo.
Those are awesome! We do use those for draw practice & such. Range has a life size video game that we can use those on.
Nothing beats training w/ recoil though... or maybe I old & bias??
