OK, so there is a fleet of like 4 or more airplanes in the President's fleet. Some big, some small because not every airport can handle a 747 and if he's not traveling far there's no need. They are operated by the Air Force. All planes have a call sign, Viper 1, Viper 2, Orion 47, etc. When the Air Force moves the president on a plane, the Air Force will call whatever plane that is, Air Force 1. AF1 is not assigned to a specific plane.
So tired of this same topic coming up and being explained over and over.
Whether they are calling whatever Sleepy on as AF1 or not is another topic.
There are photos of trump on other af1 planes that look just like the one biden fell by. They could be replicas, or maybe he was allowed to use it? Who knows
I believe that Biden is an actor , I believe the plan , but isnt air force one any plane that the president gets on ? I’m asking because I really don’t know that’s what I thought?
Quick thoughts = This reminds me of the logo they did for the Pedo Joe "White House" in which the colors are reversed so that the house is actually blue.
Then there was a picture of DJT with a model of AF1 with a new paint scheme.
Some photos going around in the last day of KH and Xiden getting off the same plane. Which if they were legit VP/P is supposedly something the secret service simply dont ever permit to happen, the risk of both execs being on the same transport being considered too high.

There multiple different aircraft in the Presidential Fleet, IIRC 20 or so. What you are referring to is the 747 that is seen and thought of as AF1. There's two 747's one is tail number 28000 and the other is 29000.
The smaller 757's are also used often. The way it works is whichever aircraft the President is on, it becomes AF1 (so it could even be one of the small jets in the fleet) and the same with the VP, it becomes AF2. There is a similar structure for the families when they fly without the President/VP.
The bigger story has to be why they flew together on Friday? It is very rare for them both to fly together, protocol does not usually allow for this should the aircraft have a fault or crashes etc, the chain of command must be kept.
Obama and Biden did fly together once, why who knows, but it is highly abnormal.
They use a smaller plane for short trips or trips to airports that cannot handle the larger plane. Trump took the smaller plane frequently on weekend trips to his golf club in NJ. Biden was on the larger plane yesterday to Atlanta. This obsession of which plane Biden is on is getting us nowhere.

Because sometimes they obfuscate the callsign for national security reasons. They did this with Trump all the time.

Yes, any plane in the fleet is AF1 when the president is on board.
I swear that video of him falling looked like more green screen/CGI crap. Horrible resolution and Biden looked blurry around the edges.....
