My parents visited the Vatican a few years ago. They had photo after photo of all of the vast wealth of the Vatican. (hint: after seeing that, no Catholic should ever donate to them again.)

The Catholic Church and Vatican has an accumulated net wealth of about $30 Billion. The Vatican brings in over $300 Million per year. Pope Francis himself has a personal wealth estimated at between $30 Million and $70 Million.

They can STOP seeking donations.
