If we are wrong, yes, tough times ahead. But actually I think it's tough times, regardless. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

In either case, I believe this is really why this is "The Great Awakening". Once you see it, you will never not see it again. And this will be both a blessing and a curse for you (and us all). What we choose to do with this knowledge will be the next chapter in our lives. And in any event, as you say, we will have learned a lot along the way.
