I am a member of both GWA and r/GME. There are so many parallels. I do not think it is "tangential" at all. I think it is integral.
GME might be a symptom, but I think its actually a solution. It is exposing the system completely. People are seeing that the FED, SEC, DTCC, Markets, Hedge Funds, Big Bankers, etc. are all the same thing, walking in lock step, helping each other take the money from the population and give it to the wealthy. People get it now.
That is why everyone is holding together. That is how this is happening. It is incredibly motivational to know that if you buy and hold, you can bring the entire system to its knees, not because you are strong or powerful, but because ALL together you are stronger and more powerful than the entire system. Even if massive amounts of money don't exchange hands (which is a definite possibility here) it still exposes the intertwined corruption in the system to the whole world.
I do not think this is happening by chance at this time. If the group behind Q is not responsible I will be shocked.
