I have traveled 1000s of miles in this country through many many states east to west, north to south with hand warmers and fishing poles. Never had any problems ( I don't apply for silly papers). I wonder how it got to that point for them?
I completely understand, I was pulled over a long time ago (20yrs) with my brother and the cop asked if we had any weapons in the vehicle. We both busted out laughing and said pick your poison, he knew the jig stopped their. We had a work van filled with ironworking tools, everything/anything can be a weapon. I only bear arms not weapons, firearms, assault rifle, etc. or any other bs. Arms are merely private property. Language, language, the courts will get you with it and the definitions. Red isn't always red as we know it in their court. Food for thought. Stay safe soon we will all live a greater life.
Lots of people don't know and drive through NJ, or NY get pulled over, cop sees that magazine is in the pistol, no permit for said pistol, or ammo loaded in the clip even if it's removed from the gun. They get jail time often.
Yup, my cousin got 18 months for driving through NJ on his way to PA with a handgun locked in a safe in a moving truck.
How did they know he had it?
They searched his truck because they smelled weed. He's never even touched weed before, so it was BS.
