So, it first collides with a tugboat? Is this a problem? Then they try to turn the container ship around?

I don't understand what is happening at all.

The tug boats are there to guide the boat through to prevent this kind of stuff from happening. For it to collide with the tug implies a severe steering mishap. Kind of like a train going off the rails.
