A speculation: Fuel the Asian hate narrative to scare rich Chinese people who have escaped the country with communist and corrupt money into returning to China to fill government coffers.

His post (OP) implies that ChiComs are funding the stop Asian hate propaganda we are currently seeing. I don’t think he implied that the Chinese believe it to be true. They don’t really believe there’s an outbreak of racist crimes against Asians in the US (if there is it’s joggers), but that’s really not the point. If the rumors cited by OP are true, the goal of the ChiComs would simply be to create more racial/class warfare to weaken us from within. Seems pretty obvious to me.
As a former LEO I can tell you this LEO has no more information about what going on than any of us here. So, gossip yes. It is.
But no doubt its China and Xiden related.

That and there’s a practical effect where and criticism of the Chinese communist party or the countries policies is deemed racist and silenced by the communists here.

I can believe the first part.
But the second part, yeah, it’s the Asians in the flatlands of Oakland, not the Asians in Los Altos who need to be worried about their physical safety. You don’t even need to have security; you just can be safe and Asian as long as you don’t live in the “wrong” Democrat neighborhood.
The whole thing is obviously manufactured to foment further division, but it's coming off as a joke. How many non-asian people do you know who hate asians? Nobody. Its fucking ridiculous.
