I agree, but what would blocking an old image of the canal achieve? I don’t think the photos on Google Earth are updated often enough that blocking it out for this would even matter? So what the hell is googles angle here?
Maybe to keep people from seeing the “unloading of animals” they will claim happens. Lots of possibilities.
I understand they wanna cover things up, but what does Google exactly plan to accomplish. The images on Google earth aren’t even updated yearly, so if it was a live feed I get why they would black that area out, but the Suez Canal must have been photographed for Google earth months or years ago before this event, so it strikes me as strange, doesn’t it strike you as strange too??
