Please don't repeat this without clarifying that it is my individual opinion and not the company policy." Honesty is always best. And if a person has a license to practice, they can get a new job within a week. The worst case is that they'd be asked to work contrary to their conscience, which is what they are already doing. That said, the doctor communicated his real opinion... context is important, and I can't criticize what I didn't witness, except on a hypothetical basis.
