It's a wonderful verse, a wonderful part of the gospel narrative, but be careful taking that out of context as if the Christian mission is to get people to try harder to love and obey God.
That summary of the Law condemns all mankind, all our best efforts. If you seek to live by the Law you will fall by the slightest infraction. God cannot tolerate sin in his presence. CF history of ancient Israel, glory presence in the tabernacle and temple, etc.
Proper distinction between righteousness which comes by the Law vs the righteousness (a qualifying righteousness of another) which comes by faith is critical for sinners to be reconciled to God. Check out Martin Luther's introduction to his commentary on Galatians.
