I am making an assumption, based on the majority of Biden administration appointees. They represent selected groups, regardless of their skill, experience or qualifications. Therefore I assume it is true here. If you can provide me with evidence that this woman was promoted solely on her her merits and was the most qualified for this position, I will happily retract my opinion.
You assume she was promoted just like everyone else in the military. I assume she was promoted to push an agenda, based on what I have seen with my eyes in most other positions in this administration. We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.
Contrast this with Commander Wijnaldum's announcement above. What is her qualifier? She is a woman of color. It is stated because it is the primary qualifier. If she has bigger and better qualifications, why aren't they stated instead?
I mean she doesn’t even have a good conduct ribbon on her ribbon stack. So I’m assuming it wasn’t quite on merit as when you get that high up in the military it is all politics.
With your clear amount of military knowledge, its no wonder they don't promote YOU to captain of a ship. Guess you'd have to step away from being a faggot mob-catering shill though, and its clear you love that position way too much
Actually I do. I was in and saw this nonsense first hand. Didn’t hang an argument on anything. You just assumed one of the guys was jumping to conclusions. And why is he not allowed to question it? I simply stated an observation I made. Have a pleasant day!
You have to read the whole rack to see she has a stellar career in the Navy-I was in the Navy 63-66 and served under a MoH Captain but the 2nd Class BM who survived the Bataan Death March elicited more respect with his POW ribbon.
That’s typically how you see accomplishments in the military so yeah I’m gonna look. Yeah I served under someone who had a silver star and I gave the most respect to him over anybody. Honestly this day in age there is a lot of ribbons and citations given over meaningless things. Have a pleasant day!
Or the sorry fucks at a fast food joint making the burger without the meat half way off the fucking bun... and the ketchup and mustard all in one fucking glob on the fucking bun where the simulated meat is not.
So you're saying they could all be unable to swim, blind and in a vegitative state and they would've been handed the keys to warships because, well, they're POC. Wondeful.
"Nothing is impossible except for promoting people on their merits".
There. Fixed it.

Cheers!
My guess is that it was in the works before the election. Just wasn't a high priority in the early days of the Bao-dan administration to stop it.
Let's apply logic here. Read the press release. A press release would normally highlight the reasons this person earned a promotion. Like this, second paragraph https://www.armytimes.com/news/your-army/2021/01/26/lt-gen-charles-flynn-slated-to-command-us-army-pacific-and-14-other-promotions/ It does not say he was promoted because he is a white man.

Well I re-read the tweet 5 or 6 times and still couldn't find it.

Nothing is impossible.... And the titanic was unsinkable. ?
So you're saying they could all be unable to swim, blind and in a vegitative state and they would've been handed the keys to warships because, well, they're POC. Wondeful.
gonna see at least four more stuck ships.
Umm, phish can swim?
The Evergreen captain is a woman...

This is NOT the basis of leadership!!! w-t-f
I wonder if they will stop the ship before turning right? Hint, if you live in the south you'll probably get this. He He!
Military is the only way of getting retarded.
They fire skippers for anything nowadays so it'll be interesting to see what becomes of them.
