Many would lol at that comment but as one who had a passing obsession with MS Flight Sim some years ago, the level of graphics and particularly functionality left me feeling that I had a working knowledge of how to fly an airplane, especially with today's automation. What to do in case of emergencies, that's another level of the game that came after i got bored with it.
Yeah, they would not be down that much on take off. 20 degress is standard operating proceedure for many airlines because the wing produces more lift at any given speed when the curvature of the wing is increased which is what flap does, but only up to a point. The picture is actually surprising to me how much flap they can put out. This is a high drag config for landing, I was just pointing out that gear is down and flap is still partially down on take off.
Flaps and gear are down on take off too, just not that much flap. That is literally a shitload of flap!
