when I was younger, the contrails were brief, short and soon dissipated. chemtrails are persistent, spread wide and often cover from horizon to horizon and block the sun, also used to cover ground activity from satellite surveillence.

How much younger? How many years ago? Newer jets fly higher where there are lower temperatures....so the frozen moisture lasts longer.
