I spent my vacation driving from Wisconsin to Carrizo Springs, TX because I NEED to know what's going on with these babies.
This is my FB post about my visit - I have just a couple of photos, because I didn't want to be arrested, but I don't know how to attach them - basically the front gate and tents...nothing earth-shattering.
The Studios at Carrizo Springs - sounds a little "Resort" like, right?
I explained where I was from and what I was there for, and was told in no uncertain terms that I would NOT be able to see how many children were being held there, nor would I be able to see the conditions under which they were being held. Even a mother's tears got me nowhere.
I did not see a single child outside, and the officers I spoke with said that they had no idea how many children were there. On our way into and out of the facility, however, we saw a minimum of 6 12 passenger vans either bringing people in or leaving to pick up more HUMAN BEINGS. We were there for a maximum of 10 minutes. That math is astounding ?
Basically, I was told that no-one gets in without an appointment, and that I would not be able to obtain an appointment. If I want information about what is happening behind those fences, I would have to apply for a FOIA, which I will do, but how much do I trust what that FOIA might contain? ZERO TRUST, ZERO CONFIDENCE!
I must have asked too many questions, because they threatened to tow the RV, and they told me that it would be a long walk home.
This is our government at work here - transparency clearly does not exist.
