Another really good reason to eliminate sugars. Sugars protect spike proteins.

The sugar industry lobbied the politicians and health agencies in DC to get them to declare that FAT was the bad guy, when in fact, SUGAR is far more harmful. So many processed foods then went "low-fat" and added sugar to make up for the lack in taste, just poisoning people further.
I beat a diabetes diagnoses with diet instead of drugs. Had to give up ALL sugars and carbs. But it works. Stevia has been improved now so it tastes just as good as sugar. There's plenty of info online about beating diabetes with diet instead of drugs. But one thing's for sure: sugar has got to go.
I was not diagnosed with diabetes, but my dad was. Instead I became sensitive to grain, until it was all grain except for white rice. Then the sensitivity became potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots and onions. I was down to cabbage, chard and lettuce as vegetables that did not hurt me. Then I found out about the carnivore diet. What the hey. It was not a great sacrifice. And I appreciate not playing ping pong with my diet, waiting for the next reaction. So welcome to the zero-carb community.
Likewise, my dad was type 2 and his dad was type 1. I wasn't gonna wait. I already had IBS and autoimmune problems so I cut out sugars and carbs. I live on meat, eggs, olive oil and veg.
tbh, stevia is growing on me
Monkfruit is great as well.
This may explain why people with diabetes are at such high risk from Covid https://care.diabetesjournals.org/content/43/7/1378
