I’m not inclined to disagree on this, although a lot is still riding on unfulfilled expectations. However bad “the swamp” was 4 years ago, it’s beyond horrific now, and patently not drained, but overflowing and off-gassing now.
If this was all part of the plan; great! I’m still completely on board.
But if this is the final product, damn, it’s a frightening fail.
Right now, the only honest grade is: Incomplete
Not really true... the swamp 4 years ago was way worse and hidden. Exposure makes everything seem worse but all the elites stepping down from high positions.. most of the wall completed... pedophile rings broken exposed and arresrs... children saved...on and on
I didn’t say he didn’t accomplish anything as President.
He did a lot of good things.
But “exposing the swamp only because they now feel totally empowered to shred the Constitution, steal the election, and laugh in our faces” does not remotely equal “draining the swamp.” In fact, absent the final act, it’s now far worse than it was. “Exposed” is now simply “no need to hide anymore.”
I still strongly believe that the final act is forthcoming, and will be epic and decisive. But right now, absent that final act, none of PDJT’s admirable accomplishments help our nation be anything but completely %#*$ed.
Yeah. When it comes to draining things I try to think about my experience with pumps. If you're over flowing and gassing off that means the bacteria is still feeding and reproducing or the pump's motor is seized up and pushing liquid back out.
